Good News Blitz
Good News Blitz is a monthly ministry outreach to children who live in the inner city. The purpose is to evangelize children with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus and then direct them to a local church to be discipled. It is held in various locations such as apartment complexes, churches, and community centers.
Step 1:
Local churches adopt a particular community, supplying workers from their congregation, along with CEF® workers, prayer partners, refreshments, etc.
Step 2:
Meet as a team on the day of the Blitz at a designated location to pray and go out into the neighborhood to invite children once more.
Step 3:
The program is approximately 2.5 hours long including Bible lessons, fun Bible games, and other special features… all focused on the Gospel.
Step 4:
A packet of goodies is given to each child to take home, which always includes a Gospel tract. An invitation to receive Christ is given at the conclusion of every Good News Blitz. Counseling is provided for the children who respond to the invitation.

Requirements to volunteer? Any sound Bible-believing Church, Christian adult or teen, who has a burden to reach children with the Gospel who is able to give four hours one day a month. Contact us to learn more.
