Meet The State Director

My family has grown up in CEF. I praise the Lord that I grew up in a home in which my parents believed that children could come to a saving knowledge of Jesus. It was after nightly devotions at the age of 6 that I invited Jesus into my life. From there I have always had a heart for God, but I also had my plans. It was not till I was 20 that I said yes to the call to missions, that the Lord had been nudging me towards for years. At the age of 20, I served in Ohio as a summer missionary in the Findlay area. By that fall I was on staff and became the Acting Local Director as the Local Director in the Findlay area had moved on to State Ministry. For 25 years my wonderful wife Audrey and our amazing children Brayden, Bethany, Isaiah, Jonah, Skylar, & Selah have served in the Findlay area. In November of 2024 I received the call to the State level. This is a new and exciting challenge. My wife Audrey and I are excited to see what God has in store and to share what we have learned over the last 25 years of ministry. God has great ministry ahead for Ohio and we have an amazing team. We look forward to serving the local Church and growing the Kingdom one child at a time. Psalm 16:11 “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: In thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”

Melissa Latchlaw
